CDG's invoicing solution, MBS, is a full-service solution for online or licensed billing. Customized delivery methods, including fufillment services, are also available.
The software applications reside on a server located at CDG and clients access their database via a web browser. This service configuration offers the functionality and flexibility of a licensed environment without the expense and expertise required for maintaining client owned hardware. No data transfers are needed since the database resides at CDG. When a billing is scheduled, CDG merges and rates all data. Upon completion of the bill calculation, CDG prints, stuffs and mails the invoices to client's customers. Enhancements and software version upgrades are transparent to clients since they are applied to the application residing at CDG.
All software applications, including the Mediation and Customer Invoicing modules, reside at the client's location on an IBM iSeries or pSeries computer. Clients perform all hardware and software maintenance and are responsible for all billing functions, as well as printing, stuffing and mailing customers' invoices. CDG provides annual software version upgrades to incorporate general system enhancements.
If your company is looking for something other than an online or licensed solution, we'll work with you to develop a customized package that fits your needs. For more information about customized MBS delivery, including our fufillment services, please contact us.
CDG is an inventive billing solution provider. Our challenge is to anticipate the rapidly changing telecommunications marketplace, so we can respond to our customers' needs and to today's competitive environment.

CDG also asks customers for their insights through user group activities, annual customer conferences, consumer surveys and one-on-one interactions. CDG's clients are its greatest source of research and development when testing and consulting with us about new projects.
The faster your business grows, the more you depend on the integrity of your customer invoicing. That's why CDG proofs the reliability of its systems through a hierarchical system of testing and cross testing.
As long as software products are being developed, testing is a very important aspect of the developmental process. Our quality assurance team checks the application to reduce business risk, tests that specifications are implemented as documented according to business needs, and assures that all associated business risks and manual procedures are at an acceptable level. They test processes, features and characteristics of the product to prove that it satisfies stated and implied needs.
Going beyond quality assurance, all systems are monitored using proven change and error management procedures, crisis preparedness testing, Statement on Auditing Standards (SAS) No. 70 Type 1 and 2 audits and evolving documentation. Through methods like these, CDG ensures matchless quality and dependability.
